Does My Car Need Radiator Repair?
Shortly after starting your vehicle the engine heats up to incredibly high temperatures. If it weren't for the cooling system the engine would basically melt itself. The cooling system, made up of a variety of parts that include the radiator, thermostat and water pump, pushes a special fluid called coolant through the engine to remove and reduce heat. If the system fails the engine could be in danger of major problems. If you encounter any of these signs of cooling system trouble do not hesitate to visit your local auto repair shop.

If you miss the gauge the next thing you may encounter if there is cooling system trouble is white steam coming out from under the hood. This is a sure sign your car is currently overheating. Pull over as soon as possible to prevent any further damage.
Low Coolant Level
From time to time it is smart to check the fluid levels in your vehicle, including the coolant. Always check coolant when the engine is cool. If there is low levels of coolant you will more than likely encounter one of the following issues as well.
White Exhaust Smoke
White exhaust smoke is a common sign that coolant is leaking into the combustion chamber. This may unfortunately mean that your vehicle is in need of major engine repair, but it is critical you visit a shop before all is lost.
